Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 4 months old | 60 lbs
I finally figured out she must have hypo thyroid. I tried everything for her itch, and hair loss, nothing worked. Hindsight says she has been having symptoms since her last litter but didn't recognize as such. No blood test done Anything I can do/give besides levo?

Dogs that are hypothyroid have a deficiency of thyroid hormone which can cause the symptoms you describe as well as lethargy, weight gain, etc. Replacing with thyroid hormone is the only way to treat the problem, and it is necessary to confirm that she is indeed hypothyroid before starting treatment. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be given at home.
