My cat is still limping, vomiting, and grinding teeth. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 10 years and 10 months old | 8 lbs

Please Help!!! My cat is a 10 yr old male. Injured back left leg, will put no weight on it. Also dry heaving/coughing up food he eats, grinding/crunching teeth. Vet thought maybe an abscess but 5 days after antibiotic shot no improvement. Can't afford x-ray and blood work. Vet said no obvious fracture but maybe a blood clot too. Any ideas? No fever, leg pain, dry heaving/vomiting, and grinding / crunching his teeth.

I am so sorry Bogart is hurt. I believe the teeth grinding is likely secondary to pain. Does Bogart go outdoors? If so a pelvis fracture is high on my list. Look at his toe nails on all 4 feet for signs of trauma. Other problems could be traumatic patella luxation, ACL injury, bone infection, or even cancer. If he had a major trauma that could explain the vomiting as well. It sounds like he may eventually require x-rays. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon.
