My kitten's bottom is gooey, bloody, and smells weird. What's wrong?

I have a cat she is 2 months.Today I noticed she had gooey stuff all over her bottom/back legs/tail mostly on her anus/private parts. Its clear/greyish liquid and its really gooey. Her bottom smells weird. she was sitting down for awhile and when she walked away she left behind a clump Of that gooey stuff and it had alittle bit of blood. I took her a warm bath to get rid of that stuff and when I finished she tried to pee or poo but a clump of that gooey stuff came out. What could be the problem?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Fluffy! Fluffy is most likely having diarrhea. The mucous and blood indicated colon inflammation. Due to the blood and Fluffy being so small, I recommend you have her seen by a Vet today before the weekend. I recommend bringing a stool sample (if she passed actual feces). Possible causes are: intestinal parasites, viral or bacterial infections, food allergy or intolerance. For a kitten so small I worry about dehydration and secondary infections. It is best to have her seen today. I hope this helps and I wish Fluffy a speedy recovery!
