My Saint Bernard has advanced lymphoma. Should I treat or consider euthanasia?

Pet's info: Dog | Saint Bernard | Male | unneutered | 120 lbs

My saint bernard has lymphoma just found out. He is weak he started to mess in the house he will only eat if we make him food. He Las lost over 40lbs. His limpnoeids are as big as tennis ball in his neck and legs, he drink a lot of water but has dyarria now. Will treatment help or is it time to put him to sleep ? He is 7 years old

Sorry to hear this...it must be very sad to see him like this. The lymphoma does seem rather advanced, but treatment is a possibility. In-fact, it could still make a big difference in slowing the progression of the cancer and actually make him feel better. There are a few different options for chemotherapy that can range in price and efficacy. The decision about what treatment is best for Kratos takes into account multiple different factors, so this will definitely have to be a discussion between you and the vet that diagnosed the lymphoma.
