Why does my dog eat other animals' poop? Is it a health concern?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 11 months old | 4 lbs

Hello, ive noticed that my dog has been eating others pets poo’s. He doesnt eat his, but other animals, im starting to worry for his health. What could be the cause of his behavior?

Many dogs will do this and generally there is no underlying health condition. As long as you are feeding a commercial dog food, it is fortified with the nutrients Spaiky needs. It is a way however for her to get worms and giardia so its best to try to keep her from other animal's feces and to get her regular checked for parasites. I hope this helps!
