My puppy's vaccines were too early. What should I do? Petco insurance?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 3 months and 2 days old | 9.4 lbs

Good morning! 1) Does petco have or provide pet insurance? 2)I bought my puppy at 2 months old (now 3) with all his vaccines, as per the vet I took him puppies shouldn't get vaccinated so early and that his vaccines weren't given in the right order, could this be true? Thank you, Clara

Petco does offer pet insurance but you would need to contact them directly. It does sound like your puppy has been vaccinated too early. Usually vaccines are started at 8 weeks then second vaccinations are at 12 weeks. It would be worth having the course again to be sure.
