My dog has a strange lump. What could it be and should it be removed?

Cant figure out what this is or if we need to have it removed. Please help

Hi there. There are several things that this could be. Hopefully it is a viral papilloma. If your dog spends time with other dogs, especially at the dog park or daycare then it could be a virus and could resolve on its own. However, other types of tumors, both benign and malignant are possible as well. I would highly encourage you to have her evaluated by a veterinarian. They can help you decide if you should have it removed or if you should wait. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
