Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Hello, my newborn kittens are about 3 weeks, they were doing okay and crawl out of their box and meowing all the time also they looked healthy, now they are not meowing at all and become too quiet and cold and look skinner and not moving, they just open their mouths with no sound, please help me what should I do ? Are they dying ? What causes them that ? They were fine !

Hi there Your kittens need to be seen by a vet. It sounds like they've either contacted an illness (viral, bacterial, parasitic) or that they aren't receiving enough food. Kittens need to eat kitten milk every hour or so to keep up with their energy demands. I would get them to a vet ASAP to help them and find out what's going on.
