Help! My anxious puppy gets diarrhea in crate when left alone.

Question

We adopted a young 2 month old puppy who has severe anxiety when being left alone we try to crate train him and every time he ends up with explosive diarrhea in the crate even if it's only 20 minutes we've tried to introduce the crate many times in different ways by using food and treats he sits in it with the door open but as soon as the doors closed and we go to leave it goes downhill quick I don't know what else to do at this time because I do need to Crate him for a few hours a day. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 months and 7 days old | 12 lbs

Hi. Poor righ. With diarrhea, I would first get a fecal checked for parasites and have your veterinarian prescribe something for diarrhea . In his case, I would also recommend looking in to a trainer and an anti anxiety medication thru your veterinarian. Good luck.
