My kitten has fleas and is on meds. Is it safe to use flea drops?

I recently got a kitten and took her to the vet for an abscess and ringworm..Turns out she also has fleas. She's taking Clavamox, and a topical ointment for ringworm already. Would it hurt her to put flea drops on? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1.5 lbs

It should be fine to apply flea medication. Flea medication is very different from the other medications and I don't know of a flea medication that would interact negatively with the antibiotics and topical medication. However, I am hesitant to fully recommend applying the flea treatment without your vet's recommendation, because there may be a reason why they didn't already recommend it. I recommend calling your vet to make sure this is OK before applying the medication. They should be happy to answer a quick question like this. I hope that helps and Freddy gets better soon.
