My dog has bright yellow poop and won't eat. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Bichon Frise | Male | neutered | 1 year old | 12 lbs

Our bichon every so often start passing bright yellow faeces they arent always runny but he goes off his food for a dsy or so. He is a carpet trawler in that everything and anything he chews. He is well in himself so I am not overly worried but dont want a massive vet bill for nothing am i being under cautious?

Based on the fact that Teddy is acting normal, there may not be anything serious going on. I would recommend to have his stool checked for parasites including Giardia. These are easy tests and would account for the change in his stool character. If these tests are negative, you may choose to do nothing else except monitor him. Some parasites can be spread to people so it is worthwhile to have it checked out. I hope this answers your question!
