I am so sorry you are dealing with this. It is a very frustrating situation. I would try oral flea/tick prevention. I would also recommend calling an exterminator. Fleas can be extremely difficult to get rid of in certain situations. It can take a full 3 months to completely get rid of them. I hope you get rid of them soon and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

Fleas can be very frustrating to battle, but it is not impossible to win the war. Most fleas live off the pet, so treating the environment is crucial. Vacuum everywhere again and immediately dispose of the bag or empty the canister outdoors. Wash all bedding in the hottest water allowable by fabric. Use an area treatment, such as Knockout ES, to prevent against reinfestation. Whatever topical or oral preventative you use, it must be used for at least three consecutive months. This is important because it will interrupt the flea life cycle. When using a topical, be sure to apply it 2-3 days before or after bathing. Do not mix preventatives (collars, orals, topicals) without first speaking with your veterinarian. If you purchased Frontline Plus, a Merial product, from your veterinarian and used it in accordance with label directions and still have fleas, you can contact them (Merial) directly to take advantage of their "Satisfaction Plus Guarantee". Find the website address or phone number on the packaging.
