My dog has skin bumps and irritation. Is it allergy or something else?

For a while, I've seen these bumps occur frequently on my dog's back and around her genitalia areas. I figured it was just an allergic reaction to something so I purchased a recommended allergy wash. However, this wash did not really help clear up her skin. I just wanna know if there are any possible explanations for her irratents. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 11 months old | 65 lbs

Hi and thanks for your post! It is hard to say exactly what the cause of Skyy's skin irritation may be without examining Skyy first, but I can offer some potential possibilities. It could be a bacterial infection, fungal infection, mites, or due to an allergy to something in her environment or to a particular food. Your veterinarian can diagnose these potential conditions with an exam and a few simple skin tests. I would recommend Skyy visit her vet soon to have the possibilities above ruled out so she can get the most appropriate treatment.
