Is it okay to leave my cat with an unfamiliar person for 3 weeks?

I'm gone for 3 weeks and left my cat with a person his not familiar with. Is this an issue?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I think Arlye will be fine. He may be afraid of the new person and the new environment at first but I think he will warm up. I am sure he will appreciate being at home rather than a boarding facility! I hope this helps and have a great day!
