My dog licked a woolly caterpillar. What delayed symptoms might appear?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

I think Sirius may have licked a wooly caterpillar this morning. He seems ok. Do I need to be on alert for a delayed reaction?

It is unlikely you will notice any trouble from one lick without ingesting it. Often times it will cause excessive drooling and you can try to wipe out his mouth ir rinse with water if you notice this
