My dog got Interceptor Plus after a Proheart shot. Is she okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | 11 lbs

Our dog Bella was given a pill called intercepor plus today by accident, she had a shot at the vet for heart guard 3 days ago that's good for 6 months will she be okay ?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, she most likely will be fine. Just keep an eye on her and let your veterinarian know if you notice anything abnormal in her such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, decreased activity, unsteadiness, and or lethargy.     I presume that Bella was given a Proheart injection by your veterinarian. The medication in Proheart and Interceptor are different medications. Proheart was tested with other antiparasitic medications and they did not find any interactions, so I would not anticipate any problem with giving Interceptor.
