Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. I would recommend having the I examined by a veterinarian so that further testing can be done to rule out possible causes. There could be trauma to the eye itself or an infection. In order to rule these out I would suggest having the vet take a look at the eye. For trauma to the surface of the eye, a simple stain test is performed to see if there is any retention of the stain on any area of the surface of the eye. It is likely that he will need an eye drop for treatment. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns.

Poor guy. It looks like your poor pup has dry eye. Visit your vet and have them check his tear production. Until you can get Oscar seen, it is best to use over the counter artificial tears in the eyes to help keep them moisturized until stronger medication can be prescribed by your vet. I do hope that Oscar's eyes improve soon! Best of luck moving forward. Take care.
