A small chip will likely not result in anything more than some minor gastrointestinal upset, if any. GI upset, with no other symptoms can usually be managed at home with a 24 hour fast followed by a bland diet until symptoms resolve. Always keep human foods out of reach and limit table scraps to occasional small tidbits, if at all.
