Is it okay if my dog's insulin shot is an hour late or early today?

How much variation in insulin administration time is acceptable for dogs? With the recent time change our 6:30 AM feeding time became 5:30 so was it ok to wait and feed/give insulin an hr later than scheduled? Generally Is an hr late better than an hr early for giving insulin? We are less than a week into this new adventure! Help! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 6 years and 10 months old | 40 lbs
