My 8-month-old cat is lovey, soft meows, then rejects belly rubs?

Me cat is 8 months old and lately she has been more lovey and has really soft meows but she will roll over like she wants a belly rub but when you go to rub her belly she meows at you and rolls back over

Is she spayed? If she is not spayed she may be going into heat. If she is spayed, it may be more behavioral. Most cats do not like their bellies pet, so that is not unusual. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
