I wouldn't be worried about it unless more appear. Do not squeeze it, but you can gently clear the area with warm water and antiseptic soap. Keep an eye on it, and it should hopefully clear up in a couple of days. If it doesn't clear up or more appear, then I would take Coco into the vet for an exam because he may have a generalized skin infection. Good luck, I hope this helps!

It looks like a pimple, a minor skin infection. You can use a Benzoyl peroxide topical cream or an antiseptic cream in order to help it resolve quicker, but otherwise it should resolve itself without treatment.

If Gabbana doesn't seem bothered by the spot you may just want to keep an eye on it for now. However if the area is itchy, changing in size or appearance rapidly, bleeds or oozes discharge, or is just bothersome to your pup, having a vet take a look at it is best. Keeping Gabbana from scratching or pawing at it with the use of an Elizabethan (cone) collar may also help it heal and prevent further injury.

I have a puppy that’s 10 months old that’s developed this pimple by the corned of her eye. Is there a way to treat it? I can send you a picture. Thanks, Debra
It will likely resolve itself over 10-14days, I would keep it bathed with saline or cooled boiled water to prevent any infection etc and recommend you see your vet for prescription ointment which is safe to use around the eye if does not improve.

Wondering if I should take my dog in or just keep an eye on this sore. It is day 3 and it does not seem to bother her except if I try and touch it. Not sure if its an ingrown hair or something else.
It does look like a pimple/pustule. I would not be overly concerned. It may go away on it's own. I recommend you use these medicated pads on the affected area once a day until healed. Just wondering if this is something I should be concerned with? It’s looks like pimple of some sort that just turned up today. Doesn’t seem to bother my 11 week old pup at all. Wondering if I could put peroxide on it?

I would recommend just monitoring this for now and if after the next 2 to 3 weeks it is still there or worse, I would have a veterinarian examine the area so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. My 9 week old Bernedoodle (male) has what looks like a pimple on his tummy? Is it a mosquito bite? Is this just something we should monitor or should we take him in?
Hello, Thanks for the good picture. I agree that it does look like a solitary pimple, very well could be from an insect sting initially. I would just monitor this for now. If it spreads into many pimples, a larger sore, or an itchy rash, those would be reasons to have him seen by his veterinarian to ensure he doesn't have a skin infection that requires treatment. You can use a warm compress with saline or epsom salt water on the area for a few minutes twice per day. Otherwise, don't apply any ointments and just let it stay dry and open to air. My dog has allergies but I’ve never seen this happen to her. I don’t know if she itched it so hard this pimple like thing formed or not but it doesn’t seem to bother her too much. She has has all the flea and tick and mites and preventative measures
I don't think this is a serious issue at this point. It looks like a pustule/pimple which may be from an ingrown hair or she may have had an insect bite. Gizmo had developed tiny, acne-ish bumps near his groin. We don't know where they came from but Teddy has had them before and they went away within a couple days. They aren't bothering him at all. Should he get them checked out?
The pictures show a small pustule on the skin. Many times these little spots will resolve on their own, but if it hasn't gotten better in 2 or 3 days since you noticed it, I would recommend a checkup with a vet. Often they need oral antibiotics to clear the infection. You can try an anti-microbial scrub or shampoo, like Dechra MalAcetic Ultra Shampoo or a first-aid chlorhexidine soap.

Found one smaller pus filled "pimple " on his lower belly off to the side ? Is this normal . Frankie is approx 1 year old

Hello my dog got this bump next to his eye .Is this a pimple or something worse?Thanks for the help.
It could be something like a pimple but it could also be some sort of a skin mass. Pets can get many types of lumps and bumps. Most of these tumors will be benign but some will be malignant and you can't tell by looks. Here is a helpful link discussing the various types of skin masses in general: https://www.petcoach.co/article/lumps-and-bumps-on-your-pet/ You may apply a warm (not hot), compress the the area for the next few days. This can help if it is a pimple. If the mass is still there in two weeks, I recommend to have it checked out to be safe. The doctor may recommend to aspirate the mass to examine the cells under a microscope. That is one of the best ways to know what it is and if further action is needed. Hopefully it's nothing serious.
