Our cat has green junk in the corner of his eye...infection, it showed up last night and I will not have access to a vet until tomorrow, can I put tears in his eye to help clean it, or just wait until tomorrow?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could be secondary to a corneal infection or conjunctivitis. I do recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian tomorrow. How this condition will be approached will depend on what it is. I would recommend that you do not apply anything on it today as it is unclear as to what is going on. Try to prevent him from scratching his eye in case he is doing it. I hope he does great! I hope you find this information useful in helping him!
