My husky has diarrhea, mucus, no appetite. Is it parasites?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | neutered | 3 years and 3 months old | 46 lbs

I have a 3 year old husky. Lately he has been suffering from diarrhea, mucus in his stool, and no appetite to eat. Not even his favorite foods. We live in a apartment and have a dog park that he visits daily so I am concerned that it may be a parasite.

It could be due to intestinal parasites but it could also be something he ingested that has either caused a gastrointestinal infection or possibly an obstruction (foreign body). i would recommend taking him to your vet ASAP in order to get it checked and treated, he might need antibiotics to resolve this condition.
