My puppy has a sore, weeping lump on her leg. Is it a hot spot?

My cockapoo puppy (5months old) has a lump on the back of her leg (near elbow). It looks sore & has been weeping. She doesn't seem to be in any pain either. Do you know what this could be? I have attached pictures of the lump before it was cleaned, and after it was cleaned with salt water. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 11 days old | 10 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. From the picture you have provided it appears as if Costa has developed a hot spot. I would recommend cleaning this with a Betadine and saline solution (both mixed together to a light brown solution). I would recommend using malacetic conditioning spray and apply to the area until resolved. If the area does not heal or worsens, I would recommend having a veterinarian take a look at this for further testing and treatment recommendations. I hope this helps!
