Pet's info: Cat | Bombay | Male | unneutered | 6 years and 10 months old
My 6 year old male cat has been suffering from a series of injuries inflicted upon it by another cat. Of late he has been facing itching in those areas as well as the whole body. He is also losing his fur. His mother died after undergoing serious itching and mucus discharge which even led to loss of a part of the mouth. I'm afraid now he's got the same disease. Initially I thought it was due to the fight with another cat. But now he's all itchy. I don't bring up the cat inside my home.

I would recommend that you have Mani checked out by a vet. Some types of infections can be very itchy, but from the pictures I would be more concerned about allergies, fleas, mites, ringworm, etc. All of which can also get a secondary bacterial infection. I can't think of a specific disease that fits what your other cat died of, but cancer or severe autoimmune or inflammatory conditions come to mind. A vet will be able to examine Mani and may collect a few samples for microscopic examination to make a diagnosis.
