Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 months and 3 days old | 10.6 lbs
My puppy has a decreased appetite. It started last night when she didn’t want to eat dinner. She has eaten today, but I feel like it’s less than what she usually eats and then she refused after eating a certain amount. I’ve heard her stomach make a gurgling noise which only happens when her tummy is empty. She’s been acting completely fine apart from this. Again, she still ate but not as much as usual. shes very playful, drinking and pottying fine. Bowel movements are normal as well.

Hello, sorry to hear about Snowball. This could be a non-specific isolated event of feeling ill. For the moment, since she is otherwise feeing well, then you can continue to monitor her at home for any changes in activity, attitude or if she develops other signs such as vomiting or diarrhea then she should be seen by a veterinarian. Hope this helps and best of luck!

If you're in the process of changing over Snowball's food, it may be causing some digestive upset, and if she isn't eating much her tummy could also be a bit hungry. Offering a bland meal of boiled rice and chicken may help, either on its own, or mixed in, as well as stopping any extra people food or treats to encourage her to eat. If she continues to refuse to eat, starts showing signs of illness such as vomiting or diarrhea, or seems otherwise ill, having your vet take a look is best.
