My 1 year old yorkie has fleas. We have try everything that's available over the counter but medication. Been reading about nitenpyram (capstar) chewable. Is this a good medication for him?

Tobby would do best with a product like Comfortis, Simparica or Bravecto. These products last 1-3 months depending on which one you pick. These oral flea products last longer than Capstar. Capstar only last 1-2 days. You will need a consistent product for 6 months before the fleas will be gone. Hope this helps!
