My cat is eating less, hiding, and coughing. Vet visit needed?

Hello, i have recently started to notice a change in my cats behavior. He has been eating and drinking much less, and hiding more and more for about over a month now. we had gotten a kitten a few months back but, he was okay with the new cat. This is very concerning and was wondering if i should take him to a vet. The change had also occured after he had a bout of coughing that lasted a few weeks before disapering. I just want to make sure if i should take him in to a vet or not. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | neutered
