I get concerned with things a lot sooner with such a young puppy. The watery blood would make me recommend an exam by itself. I would want a urine sample to see if there is blood in the urine. The pustules have me concerned about a bacterial infection. I would recommend taking him in for an evaluation by a veterinarian. He might need to be on antibiotics or at least a topical medication. Thanks for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor baby! Be gentle when stimulating him to urinate. Use a soft towel and warm water. The blood could be from trauma or a urinary tract infection. The pustule could be from a skin infection or urine scalding. Make sure he isn’t laying in urine. If you find him wet bathe him and dry him well. I would have him seen by a Vet sooner than later because newborns are very fragile. He may need antibiotics. I hope this helps and I wish Puppy the best!
