My cat won't stop meowing and sounds hoarse. What can I do?

My cat has been meowing all day long while carrying a small teddy bear in his mouth. Now it has been 4 hours and his meow sounds like his throat is sore. Is there anything i can do for him to stop? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 10 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would take the toy away. He could have strained his voice from meowing. If that’s the case his voice should return. If he continues to behave abnormally and not eat then he should be examined by a Vet. I hope this helps and good luck!
