My puppy Brody who is 35 pounds was diagnosed with demodectic mange a couple of weeks ago... they tested his skin and the vet gave him braveto she did say more spots might pop up which they did but how long does it take for his fur to start growing back?

It can take a few months to finally get the mite infection under control. Once the mites are gone, it can take a few more months for the hair to grow back. Bravecto is an off-label medication used for demodectic mange. When I have prescribed it, I use it monthly for 3 months. I usually see a positive response around 60 days. Be patient! Brody is on the path to getting back to normal!
