Yes charcoal tablets are an old remedy for canine flatulence so giving these may help. You may also wish to discuss his dog food with your vet to find a good recommendation. I also suggest you cut out any table scraps or treats in case this is the cause of the excess gas.

    Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Activated charcoal is not used for that purpose. This is mostly used in cases of some toxicities in dogs. Some dogs develop flatulence secondary to their diet or changes to it. If there have been any changes to her diet then that could be the reason. If no recent diet changes can explain this then you could consider switching her to a sensitive stomach type diet which may help. Good luck and have a good night!
