What are these light yellow corn-like bits in my puppy's stool?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 20 days old | 12.5 lbs

Hello. I've noticed 2 light yellow, corn looking like bits in my puppys stool today. They looked exactly like corn just much bigger and a bit paler. Could you please tell me what this could be? He's been to toilet after that and his stool was fine. I have attached photo of something very similar looking.

Its hard to say what that is. Its possible that Rocco ate something (a pebble, small piece of plastic toy) and its passed out in his stool. Tape worms will sometimes look similar to what you described. I would recommend to have his stool tested for worms. If you see these objects again, put them and a sample of the stool in a baggie and have the veterinarian look at them. I'm glad Rocco is otherwise doing well. I hope this answer helps.
