Why is my dog biting red bumps on her back? Is it irritation?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 3 months old | 11 lbs

Hi Vet;) My dog has this red bumps on het back she keeps biting it We went to the vet and she gave us a shampoo...Its starting to work but is it a kind of irritation on the skin?

It sounds like Rosebud is definitely having a skin irritation. Many things can cause skin irritations. Food allergies, environmental allergy, thyroid conditions and fleas. I would recommend to call the vet and ask them about next steps if the shampoo is not working. If the problem continues, I would also recommend to ask the doctor based on you location, what is the most likely cause of the continued skin problem and which the is the first condition to pursue. Different areas will see different allergens being a problem. Hope this helps!
