Are eggs healthy for dogs? Should I cook them? What about shells?

Is egg healthy for my dog's I've been feeding my dog's egg second day and I've read online it is good for your dog but I wanted to hear from The experts them selfs And the egg shells?? Thanks for you time Vet;)

Eggs can be a great supplement to a dogs diet but the whites should always be cooked as there is a substance in them which can inctivate biotin, an important b vitamin. Egg shells can be a good source of minerals such as calcium but I would recommend no more than one shell daily and to ensure it is well broken up so the sharp edges do not cause injury
