My active dog is limping. Is his paw pad infected? What can I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 8 months old | 40 lbs

My dog is 2 3/4 old he is very active & he's been limping at times & I think it has to do with his pad what should I do?

It looks like an infection/inflammation. you can try bathing the paw in epsom salt bath twice a day, after the bath dry the pad very well. if he is licking the paw you will need to put an e-collar around his neck, you should also avoid any long walks or run until he gets better. if you do not see any improvement within a week you should take him to the vet in order to get it treated.
