My dog has itchy bumps from a sweater. What home remedies can I use?

my dog had an allergic reaction to a knit sweater for dogs and has large itching bumps over his coat. What are some home remedies? Please help

The best thing you can do for this is give a bath with cool water using an oatmeal or aloe shampoo. You can get these shampoos at the pet store. Thoroughly flush the skin with cool water for at-least 15 minutes before applying the shampoo. After the bath, Rookie's bumps should be gone within 24 hours. If not, then you can give another bath on the following day. If a week goes by and the bumps are still there, then it's best to take him to the vet for treatment.
