Dog puked after dewormer. Is it still effective or needs redosing?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 28 days old | 5 lbs

My dog puked after liquid dewormer (puking due to car sickness) I’m worried the dewormer wasn’t affective??

If your dog vomited more than an hour after the medication was given it is probably OK and in his system. However, if the dog vomited before an hour had passed then you will need to redose your dog with another round of dewormer. This medication is very safe and redosing should not cause a problem.     If you gave your dog a dewormer already and your dog is still not well within 48 hours you must take him to your vet, he might be suffering from something else or maybe the dewormer you gave him is not strong enough.
