We'll be getting a pug puppy in the next couple weeks. I had read that its important to find a vet that has special protocols regarding pugs, especially when it comes to putting them under general anesthesia. Is this true?

Pugs have special concerns with anesthesia due to their short face confirmation, as do bulldogs, Boston’s, etc. Most veterinarians are very well versed in this, but you can always ask your veterinarian about their comfort level with anesthesia and pugs. Best of luck and have fun with the new pup!!!
