Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 5 years and 10 months old | 9 lbs
I have a Chihuahua that is very sensitive to allergens. She is even allergic to the distemper vaccine. She itches all the time. I am pretty sure it is her diet. I have tried several kinds of food, from mid level expensive to very expensive. She still itches. I have bathed her in oatmeal soap, soap that is supposed to be for sensitive skin, and even tried conditioner. I am at a loss as to what to do. And if you are wondering, I cannot find one single flea on her. HELP!

Hi there. Allergies can be very challenging and frustrating. Have you tried any prescription hypoallergenic diets? Minimum of 10 weeks with NO other treats etc? If not I would discuss that option with your veterinarian. Otherwise I may consider trying cytoplasm injections. I have been very pleased with my toughest allergy patients on this medication. I hope this gives you a few new option to consult! Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
