My puppy's paw pad is cut and bleeding. Should I take him to the vet?

Bentley my 13 weeks old puppy was playing outside the other day around 3 and I noticed a lot of blood around the house. His cut his paw Pad pretty bad. The whole top layer is torn off almost. We’ve been keeping it covered up and cleaning daily. It still bleeds. I’m not sure if it’s deep enough for stitches or if we should just continue to help it heal at home. We try to keep him from walking on it as much as possible. But he doesn’t show it hurts him when he does walk on.

Pads are tricky because they don’t heal very well. Also, most 2 month old pups have a slightly low red blood cell count to begin with, so I worry that it is still bleeding . This is the age he should also start his vaccinations and deworming, so you may want to go ahead and schedule an appointment with your veterinarian and have the paw examined at the same time. Best of luck and I hope he heals soon.
