My dog is itchy with a bald spot and red bumps. Is it an allergy?

I'm not sure if this could be the cause, but it's been 3 weeks since I gave my dog a bath. He is 1 years old and is a silky terrier. When I gave him a bath this week, I realized he had a bald spot with red bumps on it. He's been very itchy lately too. Could it be from him scratching himself or does he have something? P.S my dog barely goes outside.. so I don't think it could be fleas. Pet's info: Dog | Silky Terrier | Male | neutered | 15 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach to address your concern! What you are describing sounds as though Toby may be dealing with a skin allergy. I would recommend bathing with a shampoo such as douxo PS calm shampoo and bathe twice weekly. I would also recommend using welactin omega 3 fish oil and essential 6 spot on. If this does not help, I would have Toby examined by a veterinarian for the most appropriate treatment recommendations.
