My spayed cat is lethargic and vomiting days after surgery. What now?

Almost 6 days ago i neutered my f.cat ...till now all was looking good....the only weird thing was an inflation with a small hard spot near the operated zone...but that doesn't bother my cat and i was told that i don't need to worry... But just an hour ago my cat regurgitated her food and is really lethargic which is scary (we are talking about a cat that can be a bit crazy on a normal day). What can i do? It's currently midnight where i am so no vet clinic is open right now ... Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 6 months and 28 days old

Hi and thanks for posting. I am sorry to hear Charlie is not feeling well. The hard spot on the incision site may be a tissue reaction to the suture material used and is not a cause for concern as it will go away on its own. However, the lethargy does sound concerning to me. There are a variety of causes for lethargy in cats and it is hard to say what exactly the issue with Charlie is without examining her first. I would without food from her tonight (she can have water) and keep her warm overnight. Tomorrow, if she is still lethargic and not herself, please take her into see her veterinarian.
