Can urinary infection cause lameness if undiagnosed and untreated? (Canine)

If the urinary infection became sepsis (whole body wide infection) and infected the joint or bones. However this would be very rare, but I suppose possible. Especially if the patient had a compromised immune system to begin with. I have never seen a case where I suspected this scenario in over 20 years in the veterinary field.
