My cats are terrified of me after 2 years. How can I help?

My fiance and I have lived together for 2 years. She came with two cats. At this point they are still terrified of me. I have no false hopes of them liking me ever, but I really hate that they are in constant fear of me. Any advice? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 5 lbs

I would recommend starting with giving them a very special treat and having it only come from you. That way they can associate you with food. you can even start feeding them every day so they associate you with positive things. After doing that you can try to initiate play with using a laser or even a special toy. Hopefully these two things will help decrease there anxiety. I hope that helps
