Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. Oggy will most likely be ok as the alcohol has likely since been absorbed since ingestion. I would monitor him for any signs of depression, lethargy, seizures inappetance and contact your vet if you see any of these changes. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is certainly an interesting question! It is hard to say exactly here as we do not know how much gin was consumed by your nephew or how much of the vomit Cruz ingested. About 20% of the alcohol that is consumed is absorbed through the stomach. The rest of it is absorbed in the small intestine so there may have been some alcohol present in the vomit especially if your nephew vomited shortly after drinking. If it has been a few days and Cruz is otherwise normal, I don't think there is cause for concern. Frequent consumption of alcohol can cause liver issues down the road but not within a few days after a single exposure. I hope this helps!
