My 5 year old cat Leo is urinating in several different places in the house. He’s always been an outside cat who goes to the toilet in the garden since he was a kitten but for the past 5 weeks or so we keep finding him urinating in strange places inside, but never in the exact same spot. He’s never done this before until now. He has also never moved house so it’s not a new environment for him We have 3 other cats but they have never bothered him, they get along.

It maybe a urinary infection. If this goes untreated it can lead to an obstruction and acute kidney failure. I would have your vet make sure there is no medical reason such as that causing it. If all is normal it is behavioral. Just because nothing new has happened inside, does not mean something new is not happening outside. There may a new cat or other animal that is stressing yours or scaring yours and you will have to look into identifying that and removing it
