My new 5-month-old puppy hasn't pooped in 24 hours. Should I worry?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 5 months and 27 days old | 25 lbs

5 month old rescue, just got two days ago. Pooped once (large amount, normal feces) yesterday evening. Peed twice. Has not pooped in 24 hours. Is eating fine and alternating napping and playing. I am starting to get concerned that she hasn't pooped. I don't have pumpkin and it's 9pm, so I can't feed her that. When should I start to worry?

Congratulations on your new puppy! If Bella is acting completely normal otherwise and defecated a large amount yesterday, I wouldn't be too concerned. It is common for puppies to take some time to regulate their bathroom habits after changing homes and/or changing foods. If you do notice signs of illness (vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, poor appetite), then I would recommend taking her to the vet for an exam.
