My dog's diarrhea came back. Why are his stools soft and golden?

A few weeks ago i took my dog to the vet because he had diarrhea and they gave us medicine and a prescription diet for him for us to transition back on to his old dog food. he did fine but now we had to stop the dog food and feed chicken and rice because he was getting loose diarrhea stools again. Now his stool is kind of soft but a little formed. but its a bright golden color.... Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 16 days old | 56 lbs

Hi, It sounds like whatever is making Milo have diarrhea hasn’t completely cleared his system. Chicken and rice is good but I would advise having him seen again and doing a fecal test to find an underlying cause, and he may need a longer course of the medication. Best to you and Milo!
