What to do for my puppy's peeling tongue when no vet is available?

I need some advice on what to do for my puppies tongue peeling? I live in an area where there isn’t a vet available at this time and I’m seeking some urgent help to see What I can do to help him and his irritation on his tongue.

There isn't much you can do for irritation to the tongue. Thankfully tongues heal very quickly. If Toby seems painful, then he would need prescription pain medications since human OTC pain meds are not safe in pets. If he seems ill, he may need prescription antibiotics. You can feed soft food instead of hard food to avoid further irritation. I am more concerned about the cause of the wound to his tongue. If this is from biting an electrical cord, dogs can develop much more serious wounds in the following days and weeks that can involved the gums, cheeks, teeth, and even the lungs.
